Answer: There are several twists in The Boy. I did not want to ruin any of the surprises.

Answer: The Boy does deal with all kinds of child abuse, but it is not overly violent.

Question: Does The Boy get into graphic details about the abuse?

Answer: In all honesty, it does. Some people may find it hard to read parts of The Boy, especially if they were abused.

Question: How did you come up with the storyline for The Boy?

Answer: The storyline for The Boy actually lived in my head for almost 5 years before I wrote it. It came to me after reading many novels where the author would say, "it was the worst thing ever", yet worse things happen to people everyday. What happens in The Boy, is truly one of the worst things that can happen to a boy.
